This silk yarn proved to be very popular and it's available again! $ 85-100gr (3-3.5oz) skein /approximately 1000 yards per skein
I'm weaving with this yarn and it is coming out gorgeous! This silk yarn is not shiny. It is a combed a silk in ecru, not white . It looks more like a fine handspun yarn when looking closely. It will make a lovely fabric as is, and it dyes beautifully. It is fine enough for blouse material and softens up nicely with washing. It is not shiny at all, but has a nice raw silk look. The Silk noil dyes beautifully or can be used as is.
