Mulberry Silk is the same as the Bombyx Silk. $16.00 a 100gr or 3.5oz skeins .16 cents a gram or $1/oz if the skein is not 100grams (Larger quantity order discounts available) This is gorgeous silk. A medium, soft twist gives any cloth woven with this yarn a supple hand. It has the creamy, warm lustre of all our spun silks. They are all ecru /natural color ready for you to dye or use in their natural beauty. 12/2 is about 3,000 yards per pound, 680 yards per skein. It's a lovely weight for weaving or fine knitting. (.02/yard) 20/2 is 5,000 yards per pound, approximately 1000 yards per skein (.01+/yard) I have several varigated skeins in these weights that need photograpghing. They are $28/skein if it is a 100gr, vat dyed are $15
This is a golden color from the Annatto natural dye on the 12/2 silk. The larger picture is closer to the true color. 5 skeins available $15/100gr skein/680 yds per skein
This color doesn't due the yarn justice. It is a gorgeous deep turquoise blue on a 20/2 silk There is 1lb available on 3 skeins. about $4.50 an ounce
